Maggie, While I love "Last Speech" or "Look at Me" because of the overwhelming emotion and the sheer openness, the baring of your heart, I adore the meter of this poem. It lends a sense of jaggedness-- a lashing out in defense-- to your words, fitting with the emotion in the poem, the hurt and the confusion. Your writing is mature in content, and beautiful in thought. I loved reading your blog and trying to piece together the story behind it into a complete picture.
